Geoffrey Llewellyn, BVSc, MRCVS, has retired from general veterinary practice, where he was a partner with a practice in Hailsham, East L Sussex. He has been interested in homeopathy for many years, and used it in conjunction with conventional treatment during his career as a vet.

He now lives in France with his wife, Christina, who painted the flowers and herbs depicted in Section III.
